If you need to commute from the Central Coast into Sydney by train, there are 2 main train stations on the that have large commuter parking lots – Gosford and Woy Woy. Gosford has space for 426 cars and Woy Woy has space for 1,099. This means that living anywhere within a few minute’s drive from either of these stations makes it very easy and convenient to commute from the Central Coast into Sydney. Gosford Train station – some suburbs to consider would be Wyoming, Springfield and East Gosford. Each still offer affordable options and give good bang for your buck. Woy Woy Train station – any suburbs on the Peninsular would make the commute into Sydney very manageable.

If you need to drive into Sydney the most convenient suburb would be Kariong – this is the main interchange for accessing the Central Coast from Sydney and once you jump on the freeway it’s less than an hour into Sydney. The opening of the new Northconnex tunnel has made the trip almost seamless with only one set of traffic lights between you and the CBD.When you consider the time it takes Commuting into Sydney from the Central Coast versus how long it takes to get into the CBD from either the Northern Beaches, Western Sydney or the Sutherland Shire taking into consideration traffic delays, you will find that it’s usually faster accessing Sydney from the Central Coast than it is from any of these areas.
