Blue Bay is one of the Central Coast’s hidden gems, a picturesque seaside suburb nestled between Toowoon Bay and The Entrance. Known for its crystal-clear waters, family-friendly beach, and relaxed coastal atmosphere, it offers a slower pace of life while remaining close to shops, cafés and amenities. The beach itself is sheltered and ideal for swimming, snorkelling and stand-up paddleboarding, making it a favourite among locals and visitors alike.
While Blue Bay doesn’t have its own train station, Tuggerah Station is only a 15-minute drive away, providing convenient rail connections to both Sydney and Newcastle. The M1 motorway is also within easy reach, allowing commuters to travel to Sydney in around 90 minutes by car.
The area is well-serviced by local schools, and is within a short drive of The Entrance Public School, Tuggerah Lakes Secondary College, as well as a range of independent and private schools, offering good schooling options nearby. The suburb is primarily made up of freestanding coastal homes, many with modern renovations or beach-house charm, along with a limited number of boutique apartments and villas close to the shoreline.
